ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï isn’t just a place where students are learning about sustainability, OHIO students are actively shaping sustainability on campus.
Since 2009, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has been home to the largest in-vessel composting system at any college or university in the nation. The facility allows OHIO to compost nearly 100% of food waste from dining halls and food facilities and serves as an educational model--providing students with a look at what’s possible in the realm of sustainability.
ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï will host an Earth Day Celebration on Monday, April 14, from 12-4 p.m. in the Walter Hall Rotunda. All students, faculty, staff and area residents are invited to attend.
Hear from three ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students who received prestigious fellowships to complete the Green Roof Professional Accreditation program.
The OHIO Thrift Market will be open to the public from 1– 6 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at the Morton Field. The pop-up market will solicit items from two thrifting locations in the area.
