OHIO students encouraged to apply for Scripps Semester in DC program

All ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï undergraduate students are invited to apply for the Scripps Semester in D.C. program.

The Scripps Semester in D.C. program is a fully immersive experience designed for students who are ready to grow, explore and take their skills to the next level.

Here is what students can expect if they hit pause on their routines and spend the fall semester in Washington, D.C.

  • Internships with real impact. 100% internship placement—Every student who has participated has secured a meaningful internship
  • Courses up front, followed by a 10-week in-person practicum (internship) which will fulfill your Learning and Doing BRICK requirement
  • Networking that's not just a buzzword. Meet professionals through industry field trips and alumni connections
  • Gain skills and experience that give you a competitive edge
  • Living and learning in the nation’s capital.

Scholarships are available

The program offers scholarships to offset expenses, and many students secure paid internships—some even find that the program pays for itself and more.

If you’re interested, please don’t let cost hold you back. The program organizers are available to answer questions and provide information on financial support options. The program is currently offering up to $4,000 scholarships.
