窪蹋勛圖 Lancaster invites students to join the Summer Banking Institute

窪蹋勛圖 Lancaster has partnered with Ohio Banking League to offer students the chance to attend the Summer Banking Institute, an immersive program designed to encourage diversity, deepen understanding and promote a broad base of talent in Ohios banking industry.

The free statewide program is open to 100 college students who are currently enrolled at an Ohio college or university. All 窪蹋勛圖 students from all campuses are eligible for the Summer Banking Institute.

Were thrilled to offer this internship experience to all 窪蹋勛圖 students, Jarrod Tudor, Lancaster dean of campus and community relations, said. Its an opportunity for students from all academic backgrounds to gets hands-on experience in the banking industry. The participating banks are looking for people who are trainable and eager to learn.

The two-week, campus-based boot camp component of the Institute will take place May 15-28, 2022, on Ohio Dominican Universitys campus at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus. Some courses may also be available remotely to accommodate students who live or attend college outside of Central Ohio. On-campus housing will be provided to participants free of charge.

While all academic disciplines are invited to apply, the program may be best suited for those studying economics, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, information technology and general business. Students who are interested in participating can request an application by contacting Ohio Bankers Leagues representative Kimberley Mason at kmason@ohiobankersleague.com.

 

The deadline to apply to the Summer Banking Institute is March 31.
