On Friday, Oct. 13, 黑料吃瓜 will debut 鈥淏ridges: Building a Supportive Community,鈥 an online education module that will be delivered via email to all OHIO faculty and staff (with the exception of AFSCME bargaining unit staff, who will receive it at a later date).
The online module is an important step in the University鈥檚 efforts to prevent campus sexual harassment and sexual violence and is intended to equip faculty and staff with the knowledge to help build a culture of respect that does not tolerate sexual misconduct.
OHIO President M. Duane Nellis has set a goal of 100 percent completion of the online 鈥淏ridges鈥 module by all faculty and staff, encouraging OHIO employees to work together in the effort to prevent sexual misconduct.
鈥淥ne of the first values that struck me when I first met 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 faculty, staff and students was the culture of care that permeates this great University,鈥 President Nellis states in a letter available in the introduction portion of the online module. 鈥淭his commitment to caring resonates in your passion, commitment, and advocacy for our students, our scholarship and our advancement of higher education. As we continue to support our students and one another, it is important that we all support an environment free from harassment and sexual violence.鈥
The emails delivering the 鈥淏ridges鈥 online education module will show the sender as 鈥満诹铣怨镶€ with the subject 鈥満诹铣怨 Faculty/Staff Education Module: Bridges: Building a Supportive Community鈥 and the email notice will also show the following: 鈥渆l.lawroom.com/webimages/logo-lawroom-email.png.鈥 When the e-mail is opened, the page will show 鈥淟awRoom\\Training鈥 with information about the module and a 鈥淏EGIN TRAINING鈥 link to click on to take you to the module.
