Expected Graduation: Spring 2022

Meghan鈥痥new OHIO would be the place for her when she first stepped foot on campus. The small, tightknit feel reminded her of her hometown. Her first three years on campus proved this by finding a community of friends,鈥痯rofessors,鈥痑nd alumni that she interacts with on a regular basis. 

She has wanted to be an industrial and systems engineer since her freshman year of high school. She was researching what鈥痙egree鈥疻alt Disney Imagineers鈥痟ad and stumbled across this amazing major. After doing more鈥痙igging into this discipline she realized this was the path for her.鈥� 

She started her journey toward becoming an industrial and systems engineer by completing two co-op rotations with鈥疭chaeffler鈥疓roup in Wooster, Ohio. This past summer, she completed an internship with Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. 

Meghan has also worked as a TA for the Russ College鈥檚 math instructors, which has鈥痩ed鈥痟er to meet many great students.鈥疭he is continuing to work with other students as a Learning Community Leader. 

In addition to being an Engineering Ambassador, Meghan is vice-president of the鈥疘nstitute鈥痮f Industrial and Systems Engineers, secretary of industrial engineering honor society Alpha Pi Mu, and a student鈥痳epresentative鈥痮n the ISE Department鈥檚 Board of Advisors.鈥� 

In her free鈥痶ime,鈥疢eghan鈥痚njoys traveling, playing the bassoon, playing rugby, and baking. She has recently taken up journaling and plans to record her senior year for her future self.
